Memories from School

Year 5 children from Kingsway Primary have learnt about the schools of the past. In their trip to the archives they were able to look at the school log from Kingsway which was fascinating. Kingsway is 100 years old in 2011, so reading about its first few days was incredibly interesting.
The children researched the different schools around this area at Kirkby library, looking at a range of data including maps and photos. They then interviewed their parents about their school memories.
Bradley and Leo both interviewed their mothers about what they remembered about life at school.
