Richmonds were ironmongers, agricultural engineers  and motorists supplies and later moved to the corner of Kirk Gate and Church Street, (shop now occupied by North Lincs. Clothing Supplies.).

 

Below is an old photograph (about 1910) of Richmonds shop in its heyday

(The car in the old photo of Richmond's shop is a 7hp 'Briton' of 1910 (AU 805).  The Briton Motor Co. Ltd. was based at Willenhall Road in Wolverhampton.  They made cars from 1909 to 1928).
