The search was for a William White (or a William John White) who in 1840 gave his age as 19, having been born "in the parish of Clifton, near the town of Newich [sic], in the county of Nottingham". He is said to be the son of a Robert and Elizabeth White, who also had a daughter, Hannah, born 16 April 1813.
Using these criteria, the following has been found with nearest matches - Hannah and William being indicated * and ** respectively.
