Further to messages below, Paul Reynolds has very kindly sent of a photo of his Nottingham City Fire Brigade Cap badge from 1969 up to amalgamation with Nottinghamshire Fire Service in 1974.

Paul's photo below, is much clearer than ours at the top of this page. Thanks Paul.

As a proud ex serving member of Nottingham City Fire Brigade from 1969 till amalgamation in 1974, I am honoured to still own my city cap badge and a perfect unused helmet transfer together with a few tunic buttons and my original leather fire boots which are still in almost perfect condition.

Hi Paul. Many thanks for getting in touch. Could you send us photos of your cap badge, tunic buttons etc? It would be great to add these to our page, particularly as our photo is somewhat blurred!
