Description of event

Local researchers Dave Pickersgill and John Stocks outline the traditional views of the war, and the British Government's role in alcohol supply; before going on to explore the relationship between frontline soldiers and alcohol. Small, drink-related acts of defiance have been recorded; could these have helped local men play their part during the horrors of the Western Front?
