Bringing together people interested in local history

Formed in 1953, the Nottinghamshire Local History Association (NLHA) brings together people and organisations interested in all aspects of local history in the county.

The Association's aim is to keep members in touch with current developments in local history and to this end they hold two day-schools a year covering a wide range of subjects.

The NLHA publishes The Nottinghamshire Historian twice a year and members receive a copy of each issue as part of their subscription. They also maintain a list of all the local history societies in the county and a diary of events.
