Description of event

The walk will be led by STAA Trustee, Captain Paul Freeborough Follow old paths across Coppice Park up onto Caunton Avenue, Thyra Grove, Woodborough Road, Dagmar Grove and The Crescent, before turning into Sycamore Park and the western entrance of the Allotments. The culmination of the walk will be a heritage and wildlife tour of Nottingham's unique detached Victorian Gardens - St Anns Allotments, where you can enjoy the rest of the open day. All Trekkies should be aware that the walk will include a number of steep hills and will take approximately 2 hours to complete. Comfortable walking boots/shoes, long trousers and a bottle of water are recommended. (no costume required!) Unsuitable for young children.
