Lost Village
In his Little Guide to Nottinghamshire (London, Methuen, 1910) E.L. Guilford states (p105) "On the Colston Bassett side of Kinoulton was the village of Newbold, of which all trace has been lost"
Briscoe, in 1884, had noted that "there are still some fields stretching all along the north side of Kinoulton which they yet call Newbold". (1)
