"Driver Edwin Gospel of the Royal Field Artillery, has been six years in the army. At present he is in the trenches and has happily so far escaped any injury. He has received the Hucknall gift of good things, and states that he is delighted to be remembered by his townspeople, and thanks all donors to the fund. His parents reside at Hazel Grove"
