Photo:A happy group of children and adults at (we believe) Newark's Northgate railway station in the 1950s. Are you in the picture? Can you help us identify anyone seen here, and what was the reason for the outing?

We now know that the picture of the children at the railway station was taken on 15th October 1956, whilst the R&M fire brigade picture was taken in June 1955

The photo showing a group of children at a Newark railway station was taken not at the Northgate station but on the 'down', i.e. Lincoln/Cleethorpes-bound platform of the Castle station.
