My father was a mechanic at this garage back in the late 40 early 50s
I also worked there from 1961
I was the telephonist at Oscrofts in 1971. The switch room was situated in the main showroom. The second show room was the base for Budget rent a car and across the road was the 'autodrome' which was sales on se o d hand cars.
Oscrofts was taken over by Wallace Arnold
